I have epulis and the vet recommended this to prevent infections. It seems to do the trick, although it tastes horrid and I don't like it. My domestic servant put it into a spray bottle, which makes it easier for her to spray it onto my gums. The border terriers get a squirt of it, too - they seem to like the taste, but they are a bit weird.
